This page explains how QREasy handles QR generation, dynamic links, browser storage, and analytics.

Static QR codes

Static QR code previews are generated in your browser from the information you enter. Static exports do not require an account.

Dynamic QR links

When you create a dynamic QR link, QREasy stores the destination, label, generated code, optional expiration date, and hashed management token data needed to operate the redirect.

Browser storage

QREasy stores dynamic link details and the plaintext management token in browser local storage only when you enable ‘Remember this management link on this device.’ Existing entries saved by earlier versions remain until you clear them.

Analytics

QREasy may use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic and product usage. Analytics is configured through the public GA4 measurement ID used by the deployed site.
